# LinkedIn Matched Audiences

## Set it up
1. Open **Ad audiences** and click **Connect LinkedIn**. Sign in with a LinkedIn member who has a role above Viewer on the ad account.
2. Choose the ad account.
3. Create an audience. It appears in Campaign Manager under **Audiences** once LinkedIn has processed it.

## Good to know
- We send SHA-256 hashes of lowercased emails with whitespace removed. Nothing else.
- LinkedIn needs at least 300 matched members before an audience can run, and shows the matched size in Campaign Manager.
- Remove the audience from active campaigns before deleting it. LinkedIn won't delete an audience a running campaign uses; we keep retrying and show the error.
- If access expires, click **Reconnect**.
