# Send people to Attio

> Create or update Attio people by email, link them to their company, and add a note with the pages they viewed.

Attio sync is included on the **Starter** plan and above.

## Set it up
1. In Attio, open **Workspace settings**, then **Developers**, and create an access token. Give it read-write access to **records** and **notes**, and read access to **object configuration**.
2. In WhoLayer, open **Destinations**, choose **Attio**, and paste the token.
3. Click **Send test**. Look for a sample person named Avery Sample, then delete it.

## What we write
- **Company:** found by domain, or created with that domain (Attio fills in the rest). Existing company names aren't changed.
- **Person:** found by email address, or created, with name, job title, and the company link.
- **Note:** on the person, with the pages viewed and the number of visits.

Only people with an email address are sent. The token is encrypted when you save it.
