Why you might be in our data
WhoLayer helps businesses recognize who visits their websites and reach them with accurate contact details. To do that, we work with data partners that link browsers and devices to people, and we keep business contact information such as names, job titles, and work email addresses.
So if you've visited a website that uses WhoLayer, or your work details are published or licensed by a business data provider, we may hold some information about you. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what and where it comes from.
What happens when you submit
- Opt-out and deletion start right away. We add your email address to our suppression list the moment you submit, so WhoLayer stops returning it to every customer.
- We email you a confirmation with a reference number.
- We finish within 45 days. For deletion, access, and correction we may first ask you to confirm you control the email address.
- We pass it on. We forward opt-outs and deletions to our data partners so the information doesn't come back.

Asking for someone else
An authorized agent can submit a request for you. Put the agent's name and contact details in the last box. We'll ask for your signed permission, or a power of attorney.
Stop it automatically
Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. WhoLayer treats it as an opt-out, and our tag won't identify you on any customer's website.
California residents can also delete their information from every registered data broker at once through California's DROP. We process those requests too.
