Send identified visitors to Microsoft Teams
Post each match to a Teams channel through a Teams Workflows webhook. Free on every plan.
Teams alerts look like the Slack ones: who it is, their company, email, the pages they viewed, and a tag like "Viewed pricing" when they hit one of your key pages. Free on every plan.
Set it up
- In Microsoft Teams, open the channel, select More options (...) next to it, then Workflows.
- Pick the Send webhook alerts to a channel template, choose the team and channel, and select Save.
- Copy the webhook URL the workflow shows. It usually ends in
environment.api.powerplatform.com(older workflows uselogic.azure.com). - In WhoLayer, open Destinations, choose Microsoft Teams channel, and paste the URL.
- Click Send test. A sample card for "Avery Sample" should appear in the channel within a minute.
Good to know
- Old Office 365 connector URLs (
webhook.office.com) no longer work. Microsoft retired them, so we don't accept them. - Turn on High-intent only to post only when someone already identified opens a key page, like pricing.
- A workflow belongs to the person who created it. If they leave your company, ask your Teams admin to add a co-owner so the workflow keeps running.
- The URL works like a password. We encrypt it when you save it and only ever show its first part.
