Report a wrong match and get a refund
Report a wrong person, a bounced email, or outdated details within 30 days and we refund the credits for that result.
If we gave you a wrong person, an email that bounced, or details that are out of date, tell us and we'll give the credits back.
How to report
- Dashboard: open the person under People and use Report a wrong match.
- API:
POST /v1/reportwithresult_id(theper_id from/people/enrichor/phones/lookup) oridentity_id(a visitor'sperson_idfrom/visitors), plus areason:wrong_person,bounced, oroutdated. - MCP: the
report_bad_datatool takes the same fields.
What happens
- We refund the credits charged for that result if it was charged in the last 30 days. Each result can be refunded once.
- We flag it, so it's never delivered to your destinations or returned by the API again.
- Refunds in any rolling 30 days are capped at 10% of the credits your workspace spent in that window. Above the cap, the report waits for our team to review it, and nothing is refunded automatically until then.
Refunds show in your Usage ledger as "Refund for a reported result". See Fair billing for every billing rule.
